The holidays brings many pot lucks, get-together, family from out of town and parties. One of my favorite and easiest dishes to make is a good pico de gallo or dip. They are versatile and can entertain the crown while the main dish is finished.
You can adjust the flavors to your liking and bring it up a knotch for more festive occasions. Here’s a twist to a classic pico de gallo with a tangy tamarind and spicy habanero flavor combination. It’s perfect with some colorful nachos. To make this recipe I used some help by Fire Fruits Artisanal Hot Sauce. Here, I’ll show you how I made it.
Another great use for this tamarind-habanero pico de gallo is by topping your favorite protein with it. It will take your dish to a whole-nother level and OMG everyone will love you for it. Go and impress your guests with this super easy recipe. It can also be made ahead of time. Just bring it out when your guest arrive and have them snacking on something while you keep on entertaining. Making the time together a more memorable one.
