This days the house has a constant warm and sweet smell. We are in cookie baking mode. My daughter bakes on a weekly basis and we get super excited when she’s testing new recipes. Like this white chocolate candy cane cookies, they are insanely addictive. So good!
I fell in love with these cookies. They have a subtle mint flavor that hits just at the right amount and right moment. It’s so good that we want you to bake them at home too.
White Chocolate Candy Cane Cookies
Candy cane for the win during the holidays with this white chocolate candy cane cookies. Super easy to make with the help of a cake mix. Get yourself in the nice list, go bake and share.
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Line the baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
In a large bowl combine the cake mix, oil and eggs. Stir until it is all mix well.
Toss in the white chocolate chips
Toss in the crushed candy canes.
Give it a nice mix until the white chocolate chips and candy canes are well distributed.
This recipe works best if you refrigerate the batter for about 15 minutes.
Using a small ice cream scoop or spoon, scoop the dough onto the baking sheet.
Leaving a space of about an inch from each cookie.
Bake for 9-11 minutes, or until cookies are set. (For me 9 minutes was enough) Tip: you don't want them to brown.
Once removed from the oven, let them rest for a couple of minutes (like 2 minutes) on the baking sheet before transferring them into a wire rack.
Grab a glass of cold milk and enjoy!
They spread a bit and slightly flattens once it cools. Enjoy with a tall glass of cold milk and if you want to be in the nice list, share some of these goodness with others, (wink-wink).
Tell me, what’s your favorite holiday cookie? Are you an avid holiday baker? My ultimate favorite cookie for the holiday are these almond snow cookies. Everyone expects them to make an appearance before the year ends. You should see the look on their faces, priceless!
