I love easy recipes. Life is busy and I am all about keeping things as simple as possible. Delicious food is a must. I am always finding a ways to enjoy scrumptious food to eat, yet simple to make. That is where this compote recipe comes into play. It is super easy to make and will have your guests, family and friends thinking you spent hours in the kitchen. A great way to preserve those delicious sweet red gems you found in your local market or at a U-Pick farm. Yes, I am talking about strawberries! They are in season right now in Florida and I will be teaching you a great way to preserve your favorite fruit. Enjoy them all year long until next season. Let’s get started!

Lent season is here. My mom was always a great advocate on preserving the tradition of eating certain food items during this time of the year. Now, as a mom, I’m always looking for recipes to make and ways to introduce new flavors into our menu. I was inspired to create a Lent-friendly recipe by Knorr’s® Black Bean Salad. You can try this salad by visiting in-store events on selected stores in the following states (Arizona, California, Florida, Texas) in the upcoming weeks! In the meantime try my take on roasted chickpea meatless fajitas. No one will miss the meat here, this fajitas are packed with flavor and it’s a favorite in my house.
Panna Cotta is an Italian dessert with a custard consistency. It is very versatile, you can change the flavors and add fruit sauces, turning it into a whole new dessert. Something I love, a lot! Easy to make, yet delicious desserts (food).
This is a make-ahead dessert, perfect for entertaining. Serve it in wine glasses at your next dinner party, or in tiny shot glasses for a larger gathering. Just add the strawberry sauce before serving. The strawberry sauce has a tangy aftertaste that complements very well with every creamy spoonful.
Cookies are the perfect treat. Weather you have a cookie jar in your counter or an airtight container designated for cookies, there is nothing like keeping it stocked up at all times. Family and friends know that in my house they can always find a cookie for them. With coffee, tea or the classic tall glass of cold milk; cookies are good anytime.
