A dear friend of mines just had a baby girl. This friend is the kind of friend you end up caring for so much that is like a sister. And with that note I will like to send lots of love by this post to a gorgeous little girl named “Maria Isabel”, and may God bless her in abundance everyday.

I have two girls and when a baby in the family is born it brings so many memories to my heart that I can’t help but feeling sentimental. They are growing so fast 🙁

Well, going back to the cake; Maria Isabel was about two weeks old when I made this cake for her sweet mom. It’s a Red Velvet Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting. Some of the decorations are modeling chocolate, others fondant and gum paste. When the baby shower took place the decor was all pink and brown, so I took that as my inspiration.
