Football season always mean tailgating and football food to me. I am more drawn towards the food aspect than the actual game itself. I may or may not watch most of the game, I am more of a social butterfly and enjoy coming up with different party foods that are both tasty and quick to prepare. When I was asked to create a tailgating party with Tyson’s Deli Wings #CollectiveBias I knew that I wanted to keep it fun and full of flavor.
Walmart Deli provides Tyson Wings in Bon-in Hot Wings and Bonless General Tso’s flavors. They can be purchased in a Pick 3 Bucket, a plated meal, or wings by the pound. Great chicken and already cooked for me? Yes and yes! Just grab the already cooked Tyson Wings from the Walmart Deli and head on to your event #GameTimeHero. The best solution to any night of the week.
I have a tip for you, whenever you are getting ready for a get-together think about a theme to build your meal and decoration around. It makes the prep process go by easier and much more fun. I chose an Italian theme. My food ingredients for this Italian themed tailgating party are General Tso’s because they are boneless and already packed with flavor (sweet and slightly spicy), pesto, fresh mozzarella, Kraft Creamy Italian dressing and mini Ciabatta bread. Here’s how you can put them together.
Slightly toast the mini ciabatta bread and spread about 1 tablespoon of pesto on one side and Kraft Creamy Italian dressing on the other.
Take the boneless General Tso’s wings, slice one or two (depending on the size of the wing) and top over the Kraft Creamy Italian dressing.
Slice fresh mozzarella cheese and place over the boneless General Tso’s Wing.
You will end up with a mini deli wings ciabatta sandwich that is packed with flavor and perfect in size to enjoy during any tailgate or get-together.
Take some extra steps by decorate your table with some fun football plates and football bowls, purchase napkins and small footballs. I have a beautiful wood table and didn’t want to cover it, so I purchased a banner and had my daughter cut it and decorate the table with it. This is a great way to incorporate your kids into the entire tailgating experience. They love to be involved and help out.
