This is not any birthday cake, this is a casino theme birthday cake… but, hey baby… what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas (or better said “What happens in Orlando, stays in Orlando”)… so no more details of the party in this post! ;)

I fell in love with this cake as soon as Stephanie came to me and sent me some ideas. Theme cakes are so cool to work with, there is little space to go wrong with this kind of cakes. By this time excitement was in my blood already!!!
Let me share with you some details of the making of the cake. The dice where made out of rice krispie treats and covered in modeling chocolate. It tied the design together. It also gives the cake a nice height and drama look. The chips and the cards are so casino! They all married each other perfectly! This cake was covered in buttercream and the details are made out of fondant.
Definitely loved it, it’s not difficult to see why… look at those colors. Red, black and white, they look so great together. So bright and alive, no wonder why it’s so Vegas appealing!
