Fun fact: One of the TV shows that I have seen over and over again is Golden Girls. If you haven’t seen it, first, where have you been hiding all these years? Second, it is about senior citizens ladies living together under one roof. They didn’t know each other prior to moving together (with the exception of mother daughter Dorothy and Sophia), they all have different personalities which makes the show completely hilarious.
My daughter (teenager) is hooked with the Golden Girls too. Which I think is too funny. A teenager and thirty…something mamma hooked on a show that is all about four senior citizens (ladies) living life in Miami. By the way; this show is old as heck.
One of the signature things they do over and over on the show is sit around the kitchen table and eat cheesecake. Every topic, drama, day of time and story telling deserved a cheesecake in Golden Girls. My daughter and I have taken that inspiration and adopted it into our lives. Every time something happens my girl would say, “It’s cheesecake time” or “Let’s make some cheesecake”. Funny right?
