After buying the pillow cake pan set from Wilton I have had lots of fun making pillow cakes. I made my daughter’s birthday pillow cake not long ago and some more after that. Love it, specially because the designs are endless. See a pillow you like? Try making a cake out of that design you like so much. Fun, ha? I’m in love with these cake pans. Go to any craft store near you and buy a set, I promise that you won’t regret it. I haven’t.
Please enjoy these pictures as you follow me through my journey into the cake world. First is a pillow cake made for my friends co-worker (a.k.a, Boss). It was a chocolate cake filled with chocolate buttercream infused with espresso. What better match than chocolate and coffee?
Coming up next is a pillow cake made for my friends 17th birthday. She is the best teenager ever and her cousins are pretty cool girls, too. This cake was a Red Velvet Cake with Cream Cheese Filling. Her favorite!
Hope you have enjoyed my designs and feel inspired to try one of your own. Keep me posted! Until next time!
